K-12 Education: Many Challenges Arise in Educating Students Who Change Schools Frequently

The educational achievement of students can be negatively affected by changing schools often. This report done by the GAO examines the “recent economic downturn, with foreclosures and homelessness†and its possible effect on increasing student mobility. This in turn will inform the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
