California: ELL Resources
As of 2021, California's schools were home to more than 1,062,000 English language learners. In recent years, the most common five languages spoken by ELLs in California have been Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Arabic. (U.S. Dept. of Education, National Center for Education Statistics)
