Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz grew up in rural Oklahoma. She has been active in the international Indigenous movement for more than four decades and is known for her lifelong commitment to national and international social justice issues.
Joanne Robertson is AnishinaabeKwe and a member of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek. She received her fine arts degree at Algoma University and Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig.
Sherri Maret presently lives in Pennsylvania. She was born in Texas and spent most of her school years there until her family moved to New Mexico.
